My Confirmation
I choose my Aunt Nancy as my Confirmation sponsor because she is not only my god mother but also a great Christian who always attends mass and is passionate about her faith. She's a great role model for me to look up to and follow. Fun fact: she was in the first graduating class of Kellenberg.
My Confirmation Name
I choose the name Agnes after St. Agnes because she denied the men who kept asking her to marry them. She could've said yes and lived a happy life but instead she said "Jesus Christ is my only spouse". Many men were very angry with her and some did very bad things to her because of her rejection but she didn't care. She knew God would protect her. This let me know that no matter how hard it is you have to stick to what you believe in and not give into what others want you to do and follow your own path.
